1. General provisions
The website probudi-heroja.hr is operated by the Association of medical students and healthcare professionals Probudi heroja, OIB: 86186264366, RNO: 0524174, with its seat in Split, Croatia (the Association). By accessing and using the website you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website.
2. Content is not medical advice
The content of this website, including texts, guides and materials on first aid and resuscitation, is of an exclusively informative and educational nature. It does not constitute medical advice and does not replace formal certified first aid training, nor the examination, diagnosis or advice of a physician or other qualified healthcare professional.
In an emergency, immediately call 112 (the single European emergency number) or 194 (emergency medical services in Croatia).
The Association is not liable for the consequences of actions taken solely on the basis of the content of this website. We recommend attending verified first aid courses.
3. Intellectual property
The texts, photographs, logo and visual identity published on the website are the property of the Association or are used with the permission of the rights holders. Personal, non-commercial use of the content is permitted with attribution. Any other use requires the prior written permission of the Association, which you may request at info@probudi-heroja.hr.
4. Acceptable use
It is prohibited to use the website in a way that may harm the Association, other users or third parties, in particular: sending unsolicited or false messages through the forms, injecting malicious code, automated content harvesting (scraping) or impersonation.
5. Forms and accuracy of data
By submitting data through the forms on the website you warrant its accuracy. Submitting a membership application does not automatically result in admission; admission is decided by the bodies of the Association in accordance with its Statute. The processing of personal data from the forms is described in the Privacy policy.
6. Third-party links
The website may contain links to external websites (e.g. social networks, partner websites). The Association does not operate those websites and is not responsible for their content or their privacy policies.
7. Limitation of liability and availability
The website is provided as is. The Association makes reasonable efforts to keep the content accurate and up to date, but does not guarantee its completeness or the uninterrupted availability of the website. To the extent permitted by the mandatory laws of the Republic of Croatia, the Association is not liable for damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the website.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Croatia. The competent court in Split shall have jurisdiction over any disputes.
9. Changes to these terms
The Association may amend these terms from time to time; amendments are published on this page with the date of the last update and apply from publication.
